Our History

In the years we have been in business, Cheeky Chilli Events has established itself as a first-class catering company for customers across the North West region. We organise parties and events across the region, covering venues as far afield as the Wirral, Cheshire, Liverpool, Manchester, and North Wales.

We have developed strong links with some of the region’s most beautiful event venues, establishing ourselves as the sole caterers for many places.

We are a multi-award-winning caterer, having walked away with the North West Caterers of the Year award two years running at the English Wedding Awards. We are experts at catering for large numbers of guests. We look after some of largest prestigious annual dinner and awards ceremonies in the area, so successfully that they book us every year.

MEET THE TEAM

Phil Williams – Head Chef

When it comes to producing first-class food, nobody beats our Head Chef, Phil Williams. With over thirty years’ experience to his name in the food and drink industry, he is constantly coming up with new ideas and creating exquisite dishes for our clients. He has worked in New Orleans, Florida, and the North of England, working his way from apprentice to restaurant owner. His passion for food is unparalleled and he loves seeking out new challenges that make the most of his experience, skill, and education in cooking.

Phil spent some time working in the hospitality sector at Walt Disney World, Florida before returning to the UK, where he opened The Marsh Cat restaurant in Parkgate on the Wirral. Since then, he has opened two more highly-popular and successful restaurants – one in Hoylake on the Wirral and the other in Menai Bridge, Anglesey.

Phil has his own hand-picked team of chefs who work alongside him, and whom he has trained under his watchful eye for many years.

Together, Phil and Kim make the perfect team to arrange your event. Their approach is relaxed and friendly, yet completely thorough, making them a pleasure to work with. They want you to sit back, relax, and enjoy your party or event, while they do what they are best at.

Kim Maher – Operations Director

Our Ops Director, Kim, is a well-respected and acclaimed events manager with more than 20 years in the events and catering industry. Dedicated and highly-motivated, Kim is committed to providing an exceptional service, tailored to the specific needs of her clients.

Before setting up Cheeky Chilli Events in 2011, Kim spent 8 years as the Operations Manager for the five-star Hillbark Hotel. During her time in the role, the hotel achieved the following:

  • Liverpool Style Awards

A fun loving event organiser, Kim has hosted the Juice FM Style Awards 2011 and the British Red Cross Annual Ball, as well as private celebrations with acts such as Westlife.

One of Kim’s greatest assets is her warm and amicable personality, which makes any consultation a stress-free and enjoyable experience for her clients. Her passion shines through at every event she manages from small, intimate gatherings events to large award ceremonies hosting hundreds of guests.
