Cheeky Chilli Sustainability  Policy 


Cheeky Chilli are constantly making changes to how we operate to ensure we reduce our Carbon footprint and do everything we can for our planet. 


Event Catering recognises that as event caterers our work has to be both a direct and indirect impact on the local, regional and global environment. As a small business we take actions to ensure this. We use local Wirral and Cheshire based suppliers.


We are committed to minimising our negative impacts and by acting in a sustainable way, using sustainable products and ensuring our suppliers follow the same policies, Cheeky Chilli works towards the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to fulfil their own needs.


We hope that by minimising our carbon footprint we encourage our customers to do so as well.


Our green policy is to constantly seek ways in which we can improve our environmental credentials. Our green strategy is aligned with our environmental policy and catering codes of practice on waste and environmental protection.

Policy Objectives:

  • Using biodegradable products
  • Protect the environment by preventing or mitigating our adverse environmental impacts (including prevention of pollution) and those environmental conditions on our organisation
  • Reduce our energy consumption costs and enhance our environmental performance
  • Have an aligned supply chain
  • Ensure our sustainable approach is applied to all new services and markets
  • Not using plastic bottles
  • Using sustainable packaging
  • Using recycled paper, i.e. serviettes, disposable hand towels
  • Reducing waste
  • Reusing materials at every opportunity
  • Repair, rather than throw away, when we can

We aim to:

  • Encourage our staff to be responsible, green citizens through training and awareness
  • Consider the environmental impacts in our purchasing and suppliers
  • Ensure our suppliers share our green values
