Sustainable catering and why it’s important to play your part
With climate change scares on the rise, it’s time to stop talking and start acting. However small, its good to know you are playing a part in supporting our planet, and here at Cheeky Chilli we are all about delivering meaningful change, without compromising on taste and quality.
For us, being sustainable, isn’t all about plant based menus either, its part of our everday operation. From sourcing mindfully, to working with local growers and nature-friendly producers to ensure we limit our miles, use the best, local ingredients and partner with small scale operations who share our values.
We hate waste too, the UK alone wastes almost 10 million tonnes of food every year, so we try and minimise over-buying by carefully planning what demand we have coming up, recycling wherever possible and only preparing the amount of food we need to deliver tasty, sustainable events.
We use biodegradable serving ware & take-away boxes for all our corporate ‘Drop and Go’ services and we have even reduced our dependency on paper-based marketing materials by using QR codes to access our menus digitally rather than printing 1000’s of booklets every year.

Plant based perfection…

We used Cheeky Chilli for our wedding at Talhenbont Hall - would strongly recommend! They had a large range of choices on their menu but also made it clear we could have anything else off the menu. The food was delicious and we got lots of compliments, and the staff were really organised and relaxed. The evening food was really popular and the staff made sure it was distributed to everyone.
