Our wonderful venue partners at Talhenbont Hall is just stunning in the springtime – their magical gardens and surrounding woodland are bursting into life, with blossoms and buds putting on a fine seasonal show. And although there is still a chance of April showers, the weather is always tricky to predict – whatever the season, and milder, sunny days are just as likely in spring as in the height of summer and can often be more enjoyable for you and your guests.
As the clocks spring forward, you can enjoy the longer evenings too, and there’s nowhere better to enjoy the sights and sounds of the season than on our stunning ‘treetop terrace’, overlooking the babbling River Dwyfach, surrounded by ancient woodland.
It can also be the ideal season to capture sought after ‘golden hour’ shots. As dusk falls a little earlier, it’s easier to grab key guests, before they head fully into party mode!
Spring conjures up some real inspiration in terms of colour palettes too. Soft pastels, subtle hues and the first harvest of locally grown blooms can add an elegant touch to your magical Welsh Wedding. It’s the perfect season to make the most of the lush greens and abundant blossoms so synonymous with this time of year.

Guests can enjoy a chilled glass of house Prosecco for both the drinks reception and the all-important toast, and our exclusive catering partners, Cheeky Chilli, will keep their signature canapés flowing for half an hour before the Wedding Breakfast.
You can choose one of our signature 3-course wedding breakfast menus for your sit-down meal (including a full tasting session) and the food will continue into the evening, with one full tray service at your reception party.
A Taste Of The Season
Why not ring the changes, with some lighter options, showcasing some of the wonderful produce available at this time of year. Chef Phil’s Wild Mushroom and Blue Cheese Rarebit served with White Truffle Oil & Wirral Watercress offers a change from the norm for your first course and the team’s delicious Roasted Sea Trout with Pea, Mint, Bacon Chowder and Roasted Lemon Oil is literally like spring on a plate!
Finally, the stunning bridal suite, complete with four-poster bed and free-standing copper bath, is yours for the night, plus our beautiful Elizabethan Manor House can also accommodate 8 further guests.
